YerbaBuena, Madrid (with photos)
August 24, 2008 – 3:57 pmFinally I’m getting those photos formatted for posting (I think photos are such a pain in the ass, but this food was beautiful). YerbaBuena is a lovely vegetarian restaurant in Madrid run by two lovely people, Graciela and Bienvenidos. It has a funky, hip atmosphere, and the food is inventive and fresh. After much difficulty in choosing, I had the seitan (I have misplaced the detailed descriptions of the dishes that I copied from the menu, but no matter, the photos should speak for themselves), below:
Hubs had the goat cheese patties:
Mom had the Quinoa Salad:
And Dad had the Avocado salad:
We liked this restaurant so much that we went back later when we returned to Madrid to fly home. I didn’t take pics that time, but I can say that the meals I had at YerbaBuena were easily the best meals I had the entire trip. Check them out here.
